Good Monday morning:
The worldwide coronavirus death toll has reached one million, with 200,000 of those deaths in the United States alone. While the US has less than 5% of the world’s population, it accounts for 20% of total deaths. Among economically advanced nations, the United States is alone in failing to control the pandemic. This failure endangers the health of all Americans and prevents our economy from growing.
We hope you’ll join us for MedTech2020 as we explore strategies to survive and thrive in these perilous times. Our theme, Propelling Industry Forward, reflects our commitment to helping our members and New York’s bio/med economy in these new and unchartered times. Our value-packed agenda features interactive discussions with industry, academic and government leaders, along with one-on-one networking, educational programs designed to equip you with cutting edge strategies, and initiatives to move the bio/med agenda to the top of state and national policy planning.
We’ll go live with registration later this week, but in the meantime, watch this space for updates, information about the program and opportunities for you to participate.
We rely on our members to make our work possible. We hope you’ll take a moment to join or renew your membership today. Renewing members can lock in last year’s rate through 2021. New members who join today will receive 2 free months on their membership year. Don’t wait – we need your support to continue the work we do.
As always, don’t hesitate to contact us with your questions and concerns. Regular updates can be found at our website, which is refreshed daily.
