This Friday begins with more alarming news about the spread of the Coronavirus, the toll it is taking on our healthcare system, and its impact on the global economy.  Closer to home, while MedTech members are at the forefront of efforts to combat the disease, they are also coping with financial hardships that threaten their continued existence. At MedTech, our mission is to grow New York’s bio/med industry.  More than ever, that means connecting our members to the assistance they need.

Congress has passed a package of programs and initiatives in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act intended to assist business owners with whatever needs they have right now. When fully implemented, there will be new resources available for small businesses, as well as certain non- profits and other employers.
