New Major at UAlbany Growing Faster than Expected

As demand for employees in the cybersecurity industry grows rapidly, enrollment for the new emergency preparedness, homeland security and cybersecurity major at the University at Albany has reached 100 students as of Friday.
An additional 314 students have declared a minor and 70 intend to declare it as a major. This is the first semester the major has been offered for students.
