Friday, May 4, 2018
On March 15th, the MedTech Association added Joe Hunter to the team, as the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, and we’re thrilled to have him on board. He is a Philadelphia native who moved to New York to attend Utica College, where he graduated with honors in English and Communication in 2017. He has a self described “passion” for communication and is an enthusiastic team member. Joe will handle MedTech’s social media platforms and our internal and external outreach efforts. Additionally, Joe will manage member communications and will support MedTech’s public relations efforts. He’ll be integral to the launch of our education, marketing and membership-retention initiatives. Moreover, he’s an avid soccer player and fan, an all-around nice guy, and will be a great team member. He is excited to contribute to connecting New York’s bio/med industry.

On April 12th, the MedTech Association added yet another new team member that is Ann Gilroy. Ann is the Manager of Programming & Events. A life-long New Yorker (with childhood stints in Buffalo and on Long Island), Ann is a long-term Syracusan and comes to us from Loretto, where she served as the Resident Services Manager at the Nottingham Community. A graduate of Nazareth College in Rochester, Ann has an exceptional background in programming, event coordination and logistics. She’s also a talented pianist and for many years operated her own piano studio and business. She brings with her an infectious level of enthusiasm and energy. We’re thrilled to have her here we know that she will be a great addition to the team. Ann will manage our portfolio of events and will be integral to the development of our programming, with an emphasis on the initiatives rolled out at our recent board retreat. Ann is very excited about the future of the MedTech Association.
