BUFFALO, NY – Continuing its rapid expansion and focus on key talent acquisition, Circuit Clinical proudly announces the addition of clinical trials thought leader, Dawn Furey, as its first-ever Chief Clinical Operations Officer. Dawn joins Circuit Clinical’s executive team to oversee and accelerate operational scale throughout the company’s national expansion.
Dawn’s storied career of landmark achievements in drug development at both Merck and Janssen, the pharmaceutical arm of Johnson & Johnson, include:
- Her operational leadership within Operation Warp Speed on behalf of Johnson & Johnson to develop their COVID-19 vaccine and enroll 45,000 patients within 8 weeks.
- Her executive success in implementing disruptive, transformational processes within clinical development to accelerate study start-up times, predictably enroll clinical trial patients, and drive diversity within participants – seen throughout the Merck & Janssen portfolios.
- Her breakthrough leadership in the expansion of clinical research throughout Eastern Europe and Russia, optimizing the footprint of trials in underutilized geographies and expanding access to clinical trials as a care option.

Dawn’s direct experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives will also play a key role in how Circuit Clinical grows to carry out its mission of transforming access, inclusion, and patient experiences within clinical research.
