NYSEDC 2019 Economic Development ConferenceAdd to calendar
Wednesday, January 16, 2019 - Thursday, January 17, 2019
Location: Albany Capital | 55 Eagle Street Albany, NY 12207
The NYSEDC Annual Economic Development Conference provides an opportunity for professionals from across New York State to come together and share best practices, learn about programs, policies, and initiatives, and hear about the upcoming legislative session.
This year, the NYSEDC is proud to formally launch our higher education committee and provide a dedicated track of programming around the role of higher education in the economic development ecosystem. This includes research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and workforce development.
The second track of programming will focus specifically on polices, regulations, and operations for Industrial Development Agencies (IDAs). 2019 is bringing several new regulations to the forefront and it is the responsibility of the NYSEDC to provide you with the knowledge and tools to operate effectively and efficiently.
The third track of programming will focus on broad economic development concepts; including Opportunity Zones, large scale site development, economic incentives, and clean energy. Economic Development happens in a variety of ways and we will provide best practices from across New York State on how to move projects or programs forward.
We look forward to having you join us this year and appreciate your support of the economic development community!
