Supply Chain Analyst

This position works to improve supply chain efficiency by managing Kanban, minimum inventory levels, accuracy, and replenishment processes. The production of daily, weekly, and monthly business metrics to site management is also required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan Kanbans for manufacturing areas. Set-up Kanban sizes, bins, develop procedures, resolve issues. Maintain P.F.E.P (Plan for every part) database.
Daily management of site cycle count reconciliation to insure that completed counts are transacted, and resulting discrepancies are addressed timely through standard procedure. Distribute initial variance report daily to team to aid in reconciliation process, including daily distribution of negative inventory record report. Publish metrics weekly.
Shop Floor Analysis - understand and document transactions required for warehouse and shop floor material movement, set-up and use of routers and bills of materials, and their impact on shop floor processes and inventory accuracy. Recommend process improvements. Identify root cause for performance issues
Plan component builds for assigned areas to support Master Schedule, as well as inter-plant and dependent departments. Address capacity constraints weekly with departments involved to resolve bottlenecks. Support Materials/S&OP perspective on Engineering Change Orders advocating for group in change order process.
Assist and at times lead Supply Chain projects for process improvements, cost, and inventory reduction. Compute, analyze, and publish daily, weekly, monthly business metrics as appropriate. Present in weekly monthly site meetings to management team.
Participate with IT and Planning Manager as necessary to resolve problems as they arise. Identify methods to improve business operations and communication options. Work to improve overall site supply chain systems and processes. Identify areas for improvement and suggestions options for resolution.
