The Opportunity:

Lead Analyst on the Corporate Services team primarily focused on the strategy and technical support of the Human Resources functional area as Ortho leverages existing capabilities and technology to enable business objectives .  In addition, provides cross functional support to other Corporate Functions areas which includes Communications, Legal, and Global Compliance.

This position requires in-depth Workday knowledge and experience and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business processes to improve products or services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.  Includes technical support of the existing Corporate Services framework and implementation of new capabilities.   Works independently; receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for team members with less experience; may direct and help prioritize the work of other team members. 

The Responsibilities:

  • Maintains positive relationships with business area subject matter experts through teamwork and communication.
  • Provides sound solutions to complex business problems surrounding Ortho’s Corporate Functions environment.
  • Leads and participates in the design, configuration and testing of projects related to Corporate Functions.
  • Technical expert and primary support of the existing HR environment (Workday).

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of Workday experience in core business process configuration and support of one or more of the following modules – Recruiting, Onboarding, Payroll (including third party payroll and US benefits integrations), Time and Attendance, Absence Management,  and Compensation / Advanced Compensation.
  • 1-2 years of Workday technical experience in the following areas – Security, EIB Integrations, Studio Integrations, Cloud Connect Integrations, Reporting, Dashboard, Scorecards, and Analytics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word), Proficiency with HTML and SQL.
  • Experience with configuring systems in a SAAS environment.
