General Responsibilities: The Account Manager represents the portfolio of Gorbel®’s Rehabilitation division and is responsible for meeting sales objectives through the development of new business in rehabilitation settings within an assigned territory. Call points include physical therapists, Directors of Rehabilitation, C-Suite, Purchasing, and Safe Patient Handling & Risk Management Administrators. The ideal candidate will utilize strong communication & selling skills to provide prospective customers with Gorbel® solutions to their business and clinical needs and ultimately close sales. The Account Manager will be responsible for a multi-state sales territory. Additional responsibilities include attending national and regional tradeshows, regular recording of activities and contacts in the organization’s CRM, and maintaining strong communication and collaboration with their internal business development partners. As a growing division, we are looking for a candidate who will deliver on revenue objectives and contribute field intelligence to support marketing and product development.

Specific Duties:

  • Identify and cultivate sales opportunities
  • Tactical implementation of sales strategy with activities to achieve business objectives
  • Identify and grow relationships with key Strategic Selling Buyers
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Gorbel® and competitive products
  • Effectively plan and manage time in assigned territory
  • Acquire and maintain strong knowledge of rehabilitation vernacular, interventions and techniques
  • Develop and execute quarterly territory sales plans that meet quota expectations
  • Ability to travel 60- 70%
Requirements:

Qualifications Required for Position:

  • Four year college degree
  • Minimum 3 years experience successful medical sales or relevant work experience
  • Proven and documented sales objectives being met or successful clinical background
  • Excellent customer service, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possesses strong business acumen
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Experience:

  • Capital equipment sales
  • Experience selling rehabilitation or mobilization devices
  • Previous call points in the rehabilitation space
  • Past business to business selling experience
  • Physical Therapy background
