The woman who has worked alongside Ronald Paprocki for eight years at the University of Rochester has been selected to succeed him in the chief financial officer role when he retires in January.

Holly Crawford has been named UR’s senior vice president for administration and finance, CFO and treasurer, University President and CEO Joel Seligman announced Wednesday.

Crawford assumes her new duties Jan. 15. She will lead the administration and finance team, which includes finance, budget, audit, campus planning and design, facilities, purchasing, auxiliary services, human resources, public safety, and environmental health and safety.

Crawford is currently the senior associate vice president for budgets and planning. She was selected after a national search that began when Paprocki announced he would retire from his 45-year career at the university.
