RIT Names Trierweiler Its First Chief Marketing Officer

Rochester Institute of Technology has a new position that is a first for the university as part of its 2025 strategic plan. Leaders announced their selection for the post on Friday.
John Trierweiler is RIT’s first chief marketing officer.
Trierweiler, who began in the role this month, is responsible for creating and implementing a coordinated marketing and branding strategy for the university.
He has more than 30 years of experience in marketing and advertising, working at companies such as Time Warner Cable, Bumble Bee Seafoods Co. and H.J. Heinz.
