Drug maker Regeneron added 265 workers at its East Greenbush facility in 2014, as employment at the site grew to 1,015 people.

Regeneron completed a 65,000 square-foot addition last year at the East Greenbush site, which is the main manufacturing facility for the Tarrytown-based drug company. The East Greenbush facility, located adjacent to the East Campus of the University at Albany, now has 490,000 square-feet of space.

In its annual report filed two weeks ago with federal regulators, the company revealed the new employment data. The year prior, employment at the site was 750.

Regeneron says it plans to spend between $650 million to $800 million this year on several capital projects, including renovating the East Greenbush facility. Other projects involve renovations of its new 400,000 square-foot Irish plant and the construction of two new buildings at its Tarrytown headquarters location.
