Pharma Companies May Have to Report Drugs’ Side Effects to Regulator

India is set to make it mandatory for pharmaceutical firms to report side effects of drugs to the regulator. The Drug Technical Advisory Board (DTAB), the country's apex drug safety decision-making body, has also held that firms set up vigilance cells manned by a medical officer or a pharmacist for the purpose.
