Monday, February 25, 2013
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – MedTech’s president, Jessica Crawford, will moderate a panel discussion with senior leaders on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Carrier Corporationin Syracuse, N.Y.. The Syracuse NOW Leadership Panel Discussion will include Carrier executives Greg Deldique, Renee Eddy, Steve Holden, Mead Rusert and Marilyn Spunar who will discuss personal experiences in their careers, along with advice and suggestions for women in business today.
The panel commemorates the one-year anniversary of Syracuse NOW, an employee network group on Carrier’s Syracuse campus that supports women in their business. The panel and its members will answer questions regarding career advancement and making the most out of the Syracuse NOW network.
Syracuse NOW approached Crawford to moderate the panel based on the success of her career path and her involvement in the Syracuse community. MedTech’s Board of Directors appointed Crawford as president in October 2012 to advance the association’s mission and vision. Prior to leading MedTech, Crawford was the manager of government affairs at SRC and its subsidiary, SRCTec, in North Syracuse and has been very involved in 40 Below, a network of young professionals dedicated to Upstate New York’s revitalization.
“In advancing your career, it's important to have a mentor for guidance and advice. This panel can help that process by putting these very qualified individuals and their experience at the audience’s disposal,” Crawford said.
The Syracuse NOW Leadership Panel Discussion is an internal program open to all Carrier employees and will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Carrier Corporation’s Syracuse Campus.
