MedTech Association, a bioscience and medical technology (Bio/Med) trade association for organizations who do business in New York State, has partnered with Loeb & Loeb, Tanner Ibbotson and Berkley Life Sciences to host the quarterly MedTech Metro series in New York City. The series has been scheduled for September 17, December 3, February 24 and May 18.
MedTech Metro is an intimate forum and networking series designed to showcase New York’s Bio/Med community before an audience of investors, business leaders and health care providers committed to promoting and supporting the Bio/Med industry.
“MedTech’s mission is to connect New York State’s Bio/Med industry through collaboration, education and advocacy,” said Jessica Crawford, MedTech president. “The MedTech Metro event is a proven way to educate the downstate Bio/Med community of new technologies developed by the startup community and help connect these companies to investment and strategic partnering opportunities. The collaborations that result are priceless.”
The September MedTech Metro event will feature a panel of Bio/Med leaders discussing “The Evolution of Today’s Life Sciences Industry.” Panelists include Scott Liebman, partner, Loeb & Loeb, Scott Gucciardi, senior vice president and general manager of healthcare and delivery solutions, Welch Allyn and Scott Livingston, chairman and chief executive officer, Livingston Securities. The presenting start-up companies looking for funding and partnership opportunities at the September event include 6Degrees, Allovate and Ichor Therapeutics, Inc.
All events in this series will be held at Loeb & Loeb’s New York City office, 345 Park Ave, New York, NY 10154 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event is free for all attendees.
