MedTech Association Hosts 2015 Good Clinical Practices Conference
Wednesday, March 11, 2015
MedTech Association, a membership based trade association for the bioscience and medical technology (Bio/Med) industry in New York State, is proud to announce the 2015 Good Clinical Practices Conference sponsored by Epstein Becker Green, which will take place at Harris Beach PLLC in Pittsford, NY on March 31, 2015. This one-day seminar will provide an in-depth review of some of the latest FDA guidances and provide practical tips to assist participants in understanding, applying and successfully complying with GCP guidelines.
Clinical trials, and the data they generate, are a critical component in obtaining marketing approval and thus impact the ultimate success or failure of a company’s medical product. Experts from the Bio/Med industry will share their knowledge and experience on a wide spectrum of topics around this problem such as FDA inspections, investigational device exemptions (IDE) and humanitarian device exemptions (HDE), quality system approach to the conduct of clinical trials and advertising and promotions of drugs and medical devices. The event will also include a panel of industry leaders sharing the most recent FDA updates and case studies for successfully navigating them. Tailored for clinical research and regulatory professionals in drug and device companies, hospitals and research organizations and for students from research institutions who are conducting clinical trials or seeking IRB approval, this event is a must looking for in-depth training on regulatory practices.
Online registration is required by March 24 for attending the event. The cost is $175 for MedTech members and $200 for non-members. CEU credits are available through ACRP for an additional cost. For more information and to register, please visit medtech.org/events.
