Cornell Chemist Awarded MacArthur Genius Grant

The surface area of a football field contained within a teaspoon of powder.
That's the type of futuristic material that Cornell University organic chemistry professor William Dichtel has developed.
The material is known as covalent organic frameworks, or COFs, and The MacArthur Foundation announced Tuesday that Dichtel won a genius grant for his work.
