Albany Molecular Research Inc., the Albany-based drug-manufacturer, has won a 10-year contract with the National Institutes of Health to make drugs for clinical trials for neurological disease.
AMRI can be awarded up to $37.3 million under the contract.
It’s been a busy month for AMRI. The company announced last week that it will make generic drugs for Genovi Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
On Jan. 9, AMRI announced the acquisition of a Scotland manufacturing facility and an Indiana lab from a drug discovery service company called Aptuit for $60 million.
