The Rochester Intellectual Property Law Association (RIPLA) is an organization composed mainly of attorneys actively engaged in the practice of patent, trademark, or copyright law, as well as associate members who devote substantial time to intellectual property law matters. Most of our members are from the greater Rochester area or have a former affiliation with Rochester. Our membership includes private practitioners and practitioners employed by local corporations. RIPLA’s primary objectives include the promotion of science, industry, and the useful arts by promoting proper administration of the patent, trademark, and copyright laws; to originate, discuss, and aid improvements in such laws; and to cultivate social opportunities among its members and with other intellectual property law associations.
