Join us for an insider’s look at UAlbany’s new Health Sciences Campus, a strong intersection of academia, government and the private sector located minutes from the Capitol. Home to the largest concentration of individual health science-related entities in the Capital Region, the Health Sciences Campus is anchored by the University’s School of Public Health and Cancer Research Center with its Center for Functional Genomics. The campus is also home to a highly-collaborative and unique 30-year partnership between the School of Public Health and the New York State Department of Health.

Other campus residents include companies such as Regeneron, Albany Molecular Research, Taconic and select research divisions of Albany Medical College and Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, as well as a dozen other area start-up and biomedical organizations.

Attendees will be able to network with and tour a variety of tenants that collectively represent a range of health related efforts through the spectrum of education, investigation, research and development and production design.

You’ll hear first-hand how the campus was shaped, transforming the former Sterling Winthrop pharmaceutical complex using a collaborative model for a biotech campus.
